Perumin 37, the 5-day top-tier mining event in Latin America, grandly kicked off at the Cerro Juli Exhibition Center in Arequipa on September 22. As a global leader in conveyor belt safety inspection, DMC Corporation participated in the exhibition again, showcasing its intelligent inspection solutions at Booth 814 in Hall 5, which attracted wide attention from the Latin American mining industry.

With a total exhibition area of over 150,000 square meters, this year's exhibition has drawn more than 1,400 exhibitors and 40,000 professional visitors from around the world, becoming a core platform for mining technology exchange and international cooperation. DMC's booth focused on presenting two core technologies: one is the steel cord conveyor belt X-ray monitoring system, which achieves accurate positioning of internal defects with 1.6mm ultra-high-definition imaging technology and supports unattended continuous operation; the other is the conveyor belt tear monitoring system, which realizes 24/7 fully automatic risk early warning through 1mm-level high-definition imaging and real-time 3D visualization technology. On-site staff demonstrated through simulated working conditions to intuitively show how the equipment reduces the risk of unplanned downtime, meeting the urgent demand for efficient production in South American mines.
"As a global mining powerhouse, Peru's mining investment rebounded to 5 billion US dollars in 2024, showing significant market potential," said the head of DMC's overseas business. Participating in this exhibition is not only a concrete action to respond to the China-Peru "Belt and Road" cooperation initiative, but also aims to solve the safety management and control problems commonly faced by conveyor systems in Latin American mines through localized technical services.
During the exhibition, DMC's booth received technical teams from several leading local enterprises in Peru, and in-depth discussions were held on equipment adaptation solutions in high-altitude and dusty environments. With the accelerated intelligent upgrading of the South American mining industry, its concept of "preventive safety management" is gaining recognition from more and more international customers.
