Summary
At 7:30 PM, 24 "night-climb special forces" assembled punctually at the foot of Yuquan Mountain. Armed with headlamps, colorful anti-loss glow tags dangling from their backpacks, and accompanied by a professional guide throughout the journey, the whole setup made everyone feel completely secure. We thought it would be a leisurely post-dinner stroll, but it turned out to be a non-stop, "hardcore boot camp"!
At the start, everyone was striding briskly like spirited youngsters and fairies. The mountain didn't look that high—but before we knew it, our legs began to feel like lead. As the altitude rose, the "give-up radar" in the group started blaring wildly—from the foot, the peak looked a certain height; halfway up, it looked exactly the same. Several teammates were bent over at 90 degrees from exhaustion, their eyes screaming, "I want to go home."
Just when we were about to hit our lowest point of collective collapse, Teacher Guo suddenly whipped out a trombone! As the resounding melody of Ode to the Motherland blasted through the forest, everyone instantly felt a surge of energy, singing along at the top of their lungs. Our morale soared—I could climb another five hundred years!

Fueled by this newfound spirit, we finally reached the summit at 10:30 PM. The view before us left everyone speechless, even a little teary-eyed. At that moment, the song "Towards the Clouds" finally found its physical form: above us, a deep indigo sky; before us, a thin layer of mist; below us, the city of Taiyuan glittering like a river of stars. All fatigue dissolved in the face of such breathtaking nightscape. Phones were raised one after another, capturing this stunning moment.
