DMC TDIS Conveyor Belt Rip Detection System Now Operational in Overseas Mining Initiative

Recently, DMC’s independently developed TDIS conveyor belt longitudinal rip detection system was successfully installed and commissioned at a key project in a major mining country overseas, and has since been officially put into operation. After commissioning, the system has demonstrated stable performance and outstanding reliability, quickly proving its excellent detection capabilities.

During actual operation, the TDIS system successfully detected a longitudinal rip on the conveyor belt measuring approximately 32 meters in length. This type of damage is highly concealed and, if not identified in time, could potentially lead to severe equipment failure and production downtime. Through continuous online monitoring and high-precision imaging, the TDIS system identified the damage and issued an alarm at an early stage, effectively helping the client take timely action and avoid significant economic losses.
